Atlantic Fields by Toll Brothers

The Project

Atlantic Fields Golf House is the social and dining centerpiece of the Atlantic Fields private golf community in Hobe Sound, FL — a Toll Brothers development set around a championship course. The building is a two-structure complex: the main Golf House with its signature window wall dining room, and a separate pro shop. Both designed to open completely to the Florida landscape.

Built by Proctor Construction, this project required ACG to execute across multiple glazing systems — a feat of coordination that most glazing subs aren't equipped for. Window wall. Operable lift-and-slide panels. Storefront entrances. Interior glazing. We handled all of it.

The Window Wall

The main dining room features a full slab-to-slab window wall along the golf course elevation. The lower panels are a custom operable lift system — each glass panel rises vertically on a chain-and-sprocket mechanism, operated by hand crank, and locks in the fully open position to convert the dining room into an open-air pavilion overlooking the fairway.

When open, there is no boundary between the dining room and the terrace. The golf course is the fourth wall. That's what this system does when it's specified, coordinated, and installed correctly.

The Pro Shop

The pro shop features a large pivot-and-fold entry system — a wood-clad panel that swings open to create a wide-open retail entry connecting the shop directly to the exterior terrace and practice area. The surrounding storefronts are full-height glass with clean white aluminum framing consistent with the main building's architectural language.

The window wall panels fully raised — the dining room opens completely to the terrace and the fairway beyond. This is the system operating as designed.

Case Study · Private Club / Discovery Land Amenity

How ACG delivered it.

The Challenge

Atlantic Fields is Discovery Land’s new Florida club — a Hobe Sound development where the finish standard on amenity buildings is set at the same tolerance as millwork, not construction.

The Golf House design called for a wall that opens completely to the first tee. Any visible frame, any off-spec threshold transition, any gap in the lift-and-slide track would be unacceptable on a Discovery project, full stop.

ACG Solution

ACG installed the full lift-and-slide door package along the course-side elevation, coordinating directly with Discovery Land’s owner-rep team on threshold detail, reveal tolerances, and aluminum finish samples before the first track shipped.

Impact storefront frames the balance of the envelope, and every sill-to-slab transition was detailed as a finished architectural seam, not a caulk line. The clubhouse opens onto the course without visual interruption and seals against Florida weather when it closes.
