Authorized commercial installer for ES8000, ES50, and ES Curtainwall systems. Miami-Dade NOA approval covered. 350+ Florida projects.
American Commercial Glass (ACG) is a Florida-based authorized installer of ESWindows commercial systems, including the ES8000 storefront, ES50 high-performance window line, and ES Curtainwall. ACG carries Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) approvals for High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) projects in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. License: FL CGC #1531993. Bonding: $3 million single / $6 million aggregate.
ESWindows manufactures a full commercial aluminum envelope. ACG installs the three systems that appear most often on Florida commercial specifications: the ES8000 storefront, the ES50 commercial window line, and the ES Curtainwall.
The ES8000 is ESWindows' primary DirectSet aluminum storefront for ground-floor and 2-story commercial construction. Pre-glazed with screw-spline construction, it accepts an integral ES-9000 door adaptor and carries active Miami-Dade NOA for Large Missile Impact applications. Standard in retail, medical, office, and institutional envelopes across Florida.
The ES50 is a wide-stile commercial swing door and window line used on hospitality and multifamily projects where a heavier frame profile is specified. With a 5-inch stile width and LMI + SMI impact ratings, the ES50 handles the structural and impact demands of Florida's coastal commercial market. Coordinates with ES8000 storefront systems as the entrance component.
ESWindows produces both stick-built and unitized curtainwall systems rated for mid- to high-rise commercial use. The ES-7525 stick curtainwall carries LMI + SMI impact ratings plus blast resistance (GSA Condition 2). The GW-7000 unitized curtainwall is Miami-Dade certified for LMI + SMI at DP +100/‑140 psf. ACG installs both systems on office, hospitality, and government envelopes.
Florida commercial projects carry compliance obligations that eliminate systems without the right approvals. ESWindows and ACG together cover those requirements without piecemeal sourcing.
ESWindows products carry active Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) numbers across the storefront, window wall, and curtainwall lines. ACG manages the NOA submittal process and coordinates the product approval documentation required under the Florida Building Code for HVHZ-permitted projects in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
The ES8000T thermally broken storefront (NOA 21-0914.03, exp. Aug 2031) and the GW-7000 unitized curtainwall both satisfy the concurrent thermal and hurricane-impact requirements that apply to Florida commercial projects — particularly ENERGY STAR-governed occupancies and LEED-targeted hotel and multifamily builds.
Specifying ESWindows for storefront, window wall, and curtainwall across a single project produces system-to-system coordination from one manufacturer's engineering team. Mullion profiles, thermal break geometry, and finish programs align across product categories, which reduces RFI exposure and simplifies the submittals package.
ACG's standing as an authorized ESWindows installer means project pricing, lead-time coordination, and technical support flow through a direct channel — not a distributor layer. For Florida commercial schedules where glazing procurement lead time is on the critical path, this direct relationship matters.
The High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) designation applies to Miami-Dade and Broward counties under the Florida Building Code. Every glazing system installed in HVHZ must carry a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance or Florida Product Approval with verified impact test results. ACG handles the submittal and coordination process for ESWindows systems on HVHZ projects.
Miami-Dade and Broward counties require that fenestration products be tested and listed under an active Miami-Dade NOA. Wind speed design criteria in HVHZ typically exceeds 170 mph (Exposure D per ASCE 7). Design pressures for glazing in HVHZ commercial projects commonly range from ‑60 psf to ‑130 psf depending on building height, roof zone, and wall zone classification. ESWindows ES8000 is rated to DP +130/‑130 psf LMI.
Products in HVHZ must pass ASTM E1886 (impact test method) and ASTM E1996 (performance specification for missile impact). Large Missile Impact (LMI) applies to floors 1–3 and uses a 9-pound 2x4 lumber missile at 50 ft/s. Small Missile Impact (SMI) applies at floor 4 and above, using 10 steel ball bearings at 130 ft/s. ESWindows ES8000, ES-7525, and GW-7000 all carry LMI ratings. ACG coordinates the impact test documentation required for permit submittals in HVHZ jurisdictions.
ACG submits the applicable NOA documentation with each HVHZ permit package. Key ESWindows NOAs in ACG's active project portfolio:
For HVHZ projects, ACG prepares the product approval package including the applicable ESWindows NOA, glazing specs, and installation drawings stamped to meet Miami-Dade HVHZ permit requirements. This removes the burden from the GC's project manager and reduces the risk of a glazing hold-up during permit review. ACG's three Florida offices (West Palm Beach, Naples, Tampa) maintain active relationships with the applicable building departments across the state.
ACG has installed ESWindows commercial systems on projects across Florida spanning hospitality, luxury residential, country club, medical, and commercial office scopes.

ACG is an authorized ESWindows installer for commercial projects. The company holds Florida General Contractor license CGC #1531993, carries $3 million single / $6 million aggregate bonding, and has installed ESWindows systems on 350+ Florida projects including hospitality, multifamily, medical, and commercial office scopes. ACG does not claim a higher certification tier than "authorized installer" — that is the manufacturer relationship designation that authorizes ACG to install ESWindows systems with factory technical support.
Lead times depend on product type, finish, and glass specification. Standard ESWindows storefront systems (ES8000 series) typically run 8–14 weeks from approved shop drawings. Curtainwall and unitized systems require longer fabrication windows. Custom finishes and glass specifications add to lead time. ACG initiates the submittal and approval process early in the project schedule to protect the glazing lead time from becoming a schedule driver. Send plans early for a lead-time estimate specific to your project's product mix.
ACG operates from three Florida offices — West Palm Beach, Naples, and Tampa — and covers commercial projects statewide. Regular ESWindows project coverage includes Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia, and Duval counties. HVHZ projects in Miami-Dade and Broward are a regular part of ACG's commercial scope.
